A certain amount of experts thinks that it is good for a kid to start studying a foreign language at primary school compared to secondary school. This essay argues that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages as starting earlier gives them more time to learn and explore more dialect and, it also helps in improving memory and communication.
Firstly, Starting in advance is always propitious. Not only this gives a juvenile more time to have a finer grasp at a language but also it provides them an opportunity to explore different dialect. In primary school, the level of studies is comparatively easier than secondary school so child can focus more on learning. Moreover, studying various dialects boosts memory, which will eventually enhance the brains cognitive power. Having a good remembrance assists a child in performing better in academics.
Additionally, it gives them an opportunity to communicate with different set of people which can benefit their communication. Having communication skills are really important nowadays, so its better if a child can learn it at a young age. On the other hand, adding a foreign dialect in academics can be overwhelming. Learning a dialect is very difficult and it requires a lot of practice and focus. So sometimes juvenile get tensed about it and, this pressure can hinder their academic results and overall health.
In conclusion, starting at early age provides them more time to learn, probe languages, helps in improving memory and communication skills while sometimes it can be a little stressful for a kid.
