Some experts believe that if a country is rich and developed like USA and UK, it’s citizens are not any more satisfied with an additional increase in economic wealth. I completely agree with the believes of experts in this matter, because in my opinion when countries are rich it’s citizens often focus on others issues like environment, gender equality and happiness, than economic wealth.
In the countries like USA, UK and Australia, which are developed nations and rich in economic wealth, generally focus on more concerning issues, which makes its citizens more satisfied. Citizens of these countries are majorly worried about the environment, and saving it from the the greedy capitalists. They have concern that industries and factories are destroying the nature, and it can be catystrofic in the future. They want clean and green energy, products that do not harm the nature and the beings living in it.
People want more happiness, freedom and social acceptance. They are concerned about the rights of women and promoting gender equality in the society. People demand equal rights and pay should given to both men and women. They are more focused on cultural development and social well being. Citizens of these nations are more focused on one’s feelings and emotions than economic wealth. They just want peace and happiness in their lives.
I like to conclude that in my opinion citizens of the rich and developed countries are more concerned about them and their surrounding, rather than economic wealth. They know that any additional increase in the economic wealth of their country does not matter, until and unless their emotional and social needs are satisfied.
