It is true that both parents are working nowadays, and as a result, children have to raise by either childcare centres or grandparents. Many parents argue that grandparents can take care of their children. While others believe that childcare centres are best for raising children. In this essay, i will discuss both perspectives before giving my opinion.

Those who think that grandparents are better for childcare give the following reasons. Firstly, grandparents are own family members. They will take care of their grandchildren because they have experience about how to take care of children. For example, grandparents will feed their grandchildren time to time and play with them as they know how to control and convince a child. Moreover, there will be a strong relationship between grandparents and grandchildren if they spend enough time together.

On the other hand, many parents wants to take children to childcare centres because the childcare centre will provide educational knowledge which will be not available at home. Furthermore, most of the grandparents are aged.They cannot look after their grandchildren, while there are experienced workers in child care centres.

I think grandparents cannot be a good childcare providers because they are old and their health is poor. It will be better to put children in childcare centres, so that they can get better knowledge and social experiences.

In conclusion, although grandparents can take care of their grandchildren, but i prefer that childcare centres will be best.
