Nowadays, many people believe that globalisation has harmed lives of individuals instead of making them better. Despite its advantages of globalisation, it also has disadvantages on people. In this essay, I will support my view point with relevant examples.
To begin with, there are numerous advantages of globalisation on people. The one of the main advantage is international trade has helped to support each country. For example, different productions that are produced in one country can be transported in other nations. Like, Japanese cars that have high quality and you can find them anywhere. For instance, iPhone is used by many humans nowadays. In addition, companies can choose the best factory in other countries in order to launch each piece of merchandise and put them together in their own company.
On the other hand, there are some negative effects of globalisation. Firstly, Globalisation can lead to increased pollution and depletion of natural resources as countries compete for cheap products and resources. Similarly, it can lead to loss of cultural diversity as Western cultures spread globally. Secondly, it can also lead to decline of local traditions and languages as people adopt global brands. In addition, local business may struggle to compete with multinational corporations that can produce goods at lower price.
In conclusion, I discuss both advantages and disadvantages of globalisation and how it effects people and the society. In my opinion, I agree with disadvantages because it can causes pollution and changes climate. As we know, culture are the identity of human and due to increase in globalisation it can causes the loss of cultural diversity and traditions.
