There are a majority of types of crime that are committed by humans, which include all age groups. Some people might commit crimes intentionally, while some cases are caused by a lack of control over anger issues. I disagree with that, as they are minors, which makes them teenagers.
On the one hand, most teenagers cannot handle their attitude and anger as adults because they are still developing. Moreover, they do not face most of the challenges, so they cannot consider the consequences of their actions like mature people. For instance, by the time minors deal with the problems, they cannot solve effortlessly compared to over 20 people who have a variety of experiences in everything. In addition, young people are not sutiable to stay in jail along their life therefore they should be given chances to show remorse for their misdeeds.
On the other hand, if the minors commit serious crimes such as violent crimes, they should be chastened as adults. Thus, they can be warned to protect the society from lot of crimes which are very dangerous. By setting strict punishment for young people, the crime rates commited by the minors can be reduced so they can be prevented from offendences.
In conclusion, I believe that it depends on the type of crimes which are commited by the minors. The people who commit harsh cases shoud be punished as they did to regert whatever they are grown-ups or not. Condemns can obstruct from enhancing of crime rates in advance.
