The use of fame has become a matter of contention among individuals around the world. Some individuals assert that famous people ought to utilize their popularity to solve ongoing problems in society, however, others of this view contend that they should emphasize only their professions. In my opinion, I partially agree with this as it has both positive and negative outcomes.

There are several reasons why famous people ought to use their popularity to alleviate social problems. To begin with, their fame should be used to raise awarness about some essential issues such as health problems, women’s right, environmental protection, road safety and anti-bullying campaigns, which can be a proactive measure for citizens to gain a profound uderstanding of social problems and solutions to overcome. For instance, when a well-known figure speaks infront of a large audience they pay proper attention to the speech than they usually do. Additionally, using fame in charity and humanitarian activities can be highly crucial for solving social causes. They often donate large amounts of money, open foundations, support education for rural children, help during natural disasters and raise awareness about health issue. Because they have huge numbers of followers on social media, which is why they can collect millions in donations within a short time.

One the other hand, celebrities should focus more on their careers. First and foremost, if they are serious in their profession, they will be able to spread their culture across the world beyond national borders. Through movies, sports performance and physical appearience and they can introduce the world to their traditions, language and clothings. This can be a realistic option for them to enhance international understanding and build a positive image of a country. Moreover, focussing their profession can be an effective way to boost national and global economics. As their movies, concerts, sports matches, endorsements and brand promotions generate billions of dollars. The entire industries such as Bollywood, Hollywood, sports leagues and fashion industriy depend heavily on celebrities. Their popularity can create jobs for thousands of people including produchers, coatches, stylists, photographers, editors, designers and marketers. This economic activity can strengthen a country’s financial stability and global reputation.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that celebrities should foucus more on their careers at the same time they should utilize their popularity to mitigate social problems. Although using fame to solve social issues is essential because it raises awareness and reduces charity, they also have to emphasize their careers to boost economy and spread their cultures.
