Some people think governments should protect culture and they should improve more new traditional constructions instead of modern ones. Although traditional styles in buildings can improve culture and tourism due to their appeal, I partly agree with this opinion because only traditional buildings may not be enough to help cities to protect their culture.
One of the main reasons why buildings should be built in traditional styles to save culture is that they can help cities to improve their culture and make their culture more famous by tourists. Providing more cultural buildings helps us to improve our tourism as well because many tourists prefer visiting countries where they can understand their cultural heritage directly. Even the population can be aware of their traditional buildings in their culture in an easy way because all provinces usually may not provide cultural buildings. For example,in Uzbekistan people may find fascinating cultural constructions in Samarkand or Bukhara. As a result, we can protect our culture and make fame for other cities by our cultural constructions.
On the other hand, I think only buildings in traditional style may not be enough to maintain culture because all countries have different national things from their culture for example, clothes or some special wearings. For example, in Uzbekistan there may be several things to organize to improve our culture, such as traditional clothes and special doppi. Nowadays many people prefer wearing modern clothes and they follow the fashion instead of wearing their traditional clothes and doppi in Uzbekistan. As a result, governments may not be able to protect culture by organizing only cultural constructions.
To conclude, some people believe that the government should protect culture and new buildings should be built in traditional styles. Although traditional construction can improve our culture to some extent, I think it cannot be enough to protect our culture. They also improve other national things.
