It is considered by some individuals that to learn foreign language is better when the child begins his school life, while ithers claim that the best way to study language is when youn generation will be at middle school. This essay will discuss both these points of view and argue in favour of the former.
On the one hand, learning languages in the beginnig of the school is easy for children. In other words, children have amazing memory in their young age than adults and they catch up everything immediately. For instance, the Cambridge studies show that children before ages 8 are tend to remember things faster than children who are 12 years old. That is why, In my opinion, young generation should start to learn language as earlier as possible.
On the other hand, middle school’s youngsters have more motivation to learn different languages. If children want to enroll abroad, they will be motivated to learn language of his dream country and study harder. Children of secondary school may have goals which will lead them to percieve new language in short time. To examplify, my cousin who is 10 years old, was motivated with studying in China and he totally learned Chinese in 5 months.
In conclusion, some people still think that learning additional language in the beginnig of the school is good idea, meanwhile others say that middle schoolers study new languages faster. However, I believe that youngsters, who are starting to go to the school, are better in learning foreign languages, because they get information quickly.
