Another downside for exchanging students between different classes is lower assistance levels. Pupils with broader knowledge occasionally assist others. This builds a lively atmosphere amongst students, inevitably leading to better cooperation rates.
A major advantage for dividing students according to their marks is bigger progress. Students with low marks are served as deterrent factor for skill development. For example, pupils who used to spend less time studying in their previous groups now improved their grades dramatically.
