There is a widespread belief that early exposure to education can has an impact on family bonds. In my opinion, disadvantages of early education would be far more considerable than the benefits. In this essay, firstly, I will examine advantages of early childhood education before its potential drawbacks.
A notable advantage of early education is that children can develop essential academic and social skills from the young age. In particular, young learners commence interacting with classmates and take part in group activities, consequently they acquire vital abilities, such as sharing, cooperating and communicating. This abilities, can boost their confidence and independence, as much as allow them to adapt to unfamiliar environments and future education steps. Another significant benefit of childhood education can be particularly beneficial for working parents, as it allows them to balance their professional and family responsibilities. When kids spend most of their time at school, adults have more time free time during the day. As a result, they can focus on their careers and personal responsibilities. Early education not only gives children an opportunity to develop essential skills, but also gives more time for working parents to their personal lives.
Despite these benefits, I would maintain that the negative consequences are more significant. One of the main drawbacks of starting education at an early age, such as four years old, would be potential emotional and psychological pressure on young children. Furthermore, children on this age are not ready for strict discipline, as they are still interested in playing with their toys and watching cartoons. Therefore, they may struggle to concentrate on their studies and lack the ability to focus on hard curriculum. This can lead to academic pressure and may cause emotional stress. Another potential disadvantage of early schooling is the potential influence on parent-child relationships. Aften a long tiring day both children and parents may fell exhausted, thereby they may have little energy left to communicate with each other and spend less quality time together, as a result it effects their family bond. In my opinion, parents could consider kindergarten firstly because they have less academic pressure, however more focus on social skills and personal development.
In conclusion, although starting school at an early age has some benefits, I believe that its disadvantages are more stronger. It can reduce family bonds and put unnecessary academic pressure on young children.
