It is often argued that nowadays more and more parents rely on online education at home for their children than offline ones. While there are some clear benefits to this trend, I believe the disadvantages of studying at home outweigh the advantages, as studying at school gives more opportunity and chance to become ideal person for children.
Proponents of homeschooling cite various reasons to support their stance. When children study at home it can be safer and cheaper than commuting to school, since in contemporary life, the number of car crashes is increasing and parents can safe money for transport. In addition, with artificial intelligence, such as AI and ChatGPT or Google parents can easily find information and videos about school subjects and teach their children at home without teachers. Because of, these approaches a lot of adults choose online studying for young generations.
However, I would argue that offline education does good than harm. By studying at school students not only gain knowledge, but also learn how to communicate with people and how to deal with life problems. At school each subject is tough by qualified teachers and it can help for students learn easily and fully the topic. Moreover, children study in a group, with different kind of people and from each other they can learn new skills, for example public speech, fluently reading or communicate. As a result, the person will be become an exemplary person.
In conclusion, although there are some clear pross of homeschooling, such as protect the child from road accidents, I believe offline study at school gives more chance to develop new skills and broaden one’s horizon.
