Many people say that in order to solve famine it is necessary to provide education, while others argue that it would be better to deliver food to people who are hungry. Giving food is not effective solution to problem, and almost impossible to accomplish, so i think it would be better to provide high quality education.
Some people say that contributing food to individuals who suffer from hunger is obvious solution. Even if it sounds easy, it is almost impossible to supply all people with provision, resources of our planet will not cover this demand. According to the UN statistics, more than 60% of indidisuals in Africa distressed from shortage in food. Agriculture in Africa just can not provide this amount of meal. In addition, authorities would need to provide nourishment all the time, because this method solves problem just for short period.
On the other hand, majority of people agree that it would be more beneficial to educate people in poor regions. Educated people will have ability to earn money and buy food themselves. For instance, Singapore 100 years ago was country of third world, but now it is one of the most developed countries. They just invested in education, which contributed to economic growth and the deficiency in food disappeared itself.
By way of conclusion, delivering food to poor regions may help once, but it is not a long-term solution. Enhancing level of education is better solution, that will take longer time, but would be more effective in terms of future.
