The group of people say that enjoyable hobbies are activities that are considered as challenging and difficult. Although, some people agree with the statement. I do not agree with this statement. Because I enjoy both types of hobby fun.
While some hobbies are relatively easy, others present more of a challenge. First and foremost, individuals believe that enjoyable hobbies need to be complicated. Sophisticated and challenging hobbies such as mountain climbing, bungee jumping or river rafting are considered as high risk. These activities need long period of commitment and highly training. When the pursuers of such hobbies achieve higher levels of proficiency, they are able to climb mountains or ride bigger waves, which naturally leads to a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
On the other hand, tough activities lower people’s encouragement. If individuals find themselves, unable to solve a puzzle because of high level of difficulty, they will lose their hopes and expectations. Every person has their own choices and interests. Some people choose find easy and simple activity which does not require any special skills. For instance, running is the most easiest one. Uncomplicated hobbies are less expensive than challenging ones; therefore, they often attract more people. Since, nowadays, due to financial problems, people have to work extra time to provide a minimum quality of life, they mostly look for easy activities, which can take their minds off their daily stress.
In conclusion, I do not believe that only difficult hobbies can be pleasurable as each type has its own attraction.
