It is often argued that after school assignment giving a lot of pressure to students, while some individuals believe that it is important for students learning process, I firmly agree with this argument. This essay will explain why I agree homework is fundamental.
One reason I agree is that homework can strengthen students learning process. Usually, pupils have a very limited time to learn at school and most of the time they spend a longer time after school. This condition requires them extra time to deepen their studying and homework reinforces them to understand better in their learning. For Instance, when teacher gives additional after school assignment on mathematic subject and the students work with that accordingly, it happens to be helping pupils to remember their previous mathematic topic, which leads to a better understanding. Furthermore, giving assignment at home may build students’ independent study skill. They will no longer depend on teacher in terms of learning, instead, they will be able to develop their independent ability in studying. This kind of skill is important to the students considering they will not be always with their teacher.
Another reason I agree with this motion is that homework can prepare students better for their exams. The ability to drill and repeating practices in homework may broaden their chance grading a good score in exams. Besides, doing a homework could also involve parents in their process. The involvement of parents surely will rise students’ motivation in learning, in the end of the day, this psychological support provides by parents are important.
To sum it up, I strongly believe that having homework after school is essential because it will strengthen and build independent study skill for students. After school assignment also produces a better result for exams. Given the argument above, I believe that people should consider homework is important for their children learning process.
