Some people argue that students can learn language effectively when they are in small group, others think that class size does not affect learning experience of students. In my opinion, when teacher has a few students, lessons will be more effectively.
Many people believe that language learners can study easily in class with a few students, due to the fact that students do not face any difficulties during the individual learning language, if their teacher has not many students. Students can improve their oral and writing skills, when their teacher can focus on each learner’s weaknesses in the class. These skills are counted main part of learning language. Moreover, the students have more opportunities to interact with their teacher because teacher’s attention is not divided into numerous times. In that way, they can easily speak with their teacher comfortably or ask for guidance when they need it, and because of that, they can learn better.
However, other people think that class size is not problem for studying because effectiveness depends on teacher’s ability and student’s willingness to learn. They believe that when a teacher is skillful enough or equipped with effective teaching methods, students will learn even the number of them in the class is not controlled. In other words, if students want to learn genuinely, their teacher’s skills are enough.
In conclusion, some people consider that lessons with limited students are effectual, while others believe that if teacher has knowledge and experience and students have desire to learn something, class size doesn’t matter.
