More and more individuals have a view that teaching children the literature and history of their own countries is much more important than that of other countries. I fully agree with this statement, and my point of view is that learning their history can increase nationalism, which leads to developing a country’s growth.
There are many nations that have their own history, culture, and language. People living in a particular country should know their history independence because this helps to save their own national customs, and also countries’ literature can lead to increased ownership and nationalism. Moreover, learning the history of people’s own countries leads people to know historical individuals and nations in their places, which leads them to be proud of their history. As a consequence of this, young people who knew the history of their countries may work in the army as soldiers, and countries’ armies will enhance because of volunteers. For example, in my country, many youths who know the history want to be soldiers, so my nation’s army is very large.
In addition, it is true that children should learn the history and literature of other countries, which helps nations save their friendship with other ones. However, this doesn’t help to encourage people. If a country has a great history, children will be proud of the history of their country and want to learn it.
In my opinion, individuals who doesn’t know the history of their country cannot build a good future. In other words, all people should learn the history and literature, if they want to be necessary for their countries.
In conclusion, children should learn the history and literature of their countries rather than that of others because it leads them to be proud of their history and protect the territories of their countries.
