Technological advances have facilitated the lives of the rich and the poor alike. Nowadays, everyone can communicate easily over long distances, travel comfortably and quickly, use computers to do complex operations, work in airconditioned areas, and much more. For example, there is a mobile phone for every budget nowadays, so that everybody can own one. However, this essay believes that the huge differences in quality and functionality between cheap and expensive technology minimizes such an advantage and they highlight the disparities within society instead.
