It is argued that only the government has a strong impact on the society, though some people assume that even an ordinary person might be an effective leader. Personally, I gravitate to the latest category, being strongly convinced that people should create their future without relying on the officials and struggling to transform this world for better independently.
Many citizens claim that there is no point of trying to change something as only the deputes decide people’s fate. Firstly, some ordinary people used to think in such a way due to the fact that these government representatives are quite rich. Evidently, there is a widespread notion in the society that a person with a big budget in the pockets might make any solutions, though not taking into account the simple workers’ interests. Secondly, the problem of corruption is deeply rooted in many countries, making the people be disappointed and hopeless to make an attempt to change something.
However, the other category of people prefers to take actions immediately without waiting for the government steps. Moreover, they are very inventive and curious about the things they do. For example, many volunteers do not expect the government to finance some vulnerable groups of the society such as the poor or the elderly people. Volunteers organize different exhibitions, where a passer-by can buy something and this donation might save somebody’s life. It is often bought some medicine or basic products. Additionally, online technologies nowadays allow them to achieve their aims quickly, posting necessary fund raisings.
I strongly believe that people can affect not only their quality of life but also help somebody who is in need. It is not obligatory to count on wealthy people from the government, the most important thing is to remain a conscious and sensible person.
