People are facing the dilemma of whether or not pop stars should be paid more money than classical musicians. Recently, this phenomenon has been brought to public attention with people standing on two different sides. However, I believe that they deserve almost the same amount of money.
On the one hand, there are many who claim that pop stars should get more money than classical musicians. Initially, they have a major cultural and commercial influence. This is because pop music shapes fashion trends, lifestyles and numerous industries in the world. This trend creates various business opportunities and signs advertising contracts for major brands. Therefore, it helps pop stars increase their income from their work. In addition, pop stars have widespread popularity and global reach. This means that pop music has a significant audience, with millions of fans around the world. Pop stars can sell plenty of tickets and albums and have numerous advertising chances. Ultimately, pop stars can earn better salaries than classical musicians.
However, I would be inclined to argue against this as I believe that classical musicians should be given more payment than pop stars. Firstly, they have artistic value and skills. Performing classical music requires high skills, specialized training, and long-term commitment, so they devote many years to music and advance their skills. As a result, they deserve to receive higher money for their job. Secondly, classical musicians also contribute to culture and history. This music has major cultural and historical value, playing a crucial role in global music heritage. Consequently, preserving and developing classical music is necessary to maintain and convey high artistic values to future generations.
In conclusion, both pop stars and classical musicians are playing the same role, performing music for listeners. In my opinion, I claim that they should get the same amount of payment for their job.
