There is an ongoing debate about whether professions such as doctors and engineers should work only in the country where they were raised or have the opportunity to move to another country. This essay will discuss both views and provide my personal opinion on the matter.
On one hand, staying in the same country can be the best option for individuals with such qualifications, as they are less likely to experience language barriers. This allows them to provide their patients or clients with appropriate treatment or solutions that suit them. However, one potential issue with remaining in one country is that individuals may lose motivation and become stressed due to low pay or negative feedback. If a person is dissatisfied with their job, they may choose to quit, which can lead to economic problems in the country and contribute to high levels of unemployment in certain cities.
On the other hand, having the option to move to other countries can bring joy to individuals and provide them with tremendous opportunities for better job placements away from their hometowns. Unfortunately, such migration can also present challenges. Individuals may struggle with a lack of confidence, as well as with understanding differing terminology. For example, if a doctor is unable to correctly understand their patient and prescribes the wrong medication, it could even lead to a fatal outcome.
In conclusion, the decision of whether to move to another country for work ultimately lies with the individual. Furthermore, no one should dissuade them from taking such action, as we all have the right to pursue our personal and professional development.
