It is widely believed that the goals of education are fitting students into society, while others think that they direct scholars to their self-achievement and success. This essay will examine both perspectives before offering my own opinion.
On the one hand, many people think that education is aimed to be useful to community and also they might believe that it benefits for goverment and countries economy more than the individuals ambitions. Students who are well-educated, can employ to large companies, meet with international organizations to demonstrate their country and bring more money to it. For example in South Korea there were many students who had studied at prestige universities such as OXFORD or HARVARD and then started openting their variety of phone brends and started creating different technology devices, which are being used worldwide.
On the other hand, those who are certain that the education is suited for only students self-achievement and navigates to more successful ways by teaching them types of subjects such as math, history, biology and so on. While it may be correct and acceptible, because after graduation young minds recieve a diplom and get salaries from their employers. Also, from what they have learned, aftermath they can apply it on their own to become well-being person. Furthermore, most European schools and universities are teaching students to set goals for their ambitions and refucing to study just for purpose of being part of something.
In conclusion, I personally believe that traditional education systems are aimed to assist people to achieve success and not relying on society.
