Consequently, a country gives attention to the final outcome rather than the process. For example, TÜBİTAK, a scientific institution in Turkey, has sometimes ignored certain studies by labeling them as unnecessary. However, these projects can later attract significant global attention.
On the other hand, the companies can raise awareness about scientific investigations since they give importance to not only final outcome but also the process. While scientists are conducting the research, companies might enable funding and resources needed to gather knowledge. Unlike the public sector, the private sector often possesses significant economic power. They can attract the interest of entrepreneurs, meeting the need for essential resources such as experimental materials or machines.
