Spending money on repair old houses is unnecessary expenses and money should be spent on reconstruct new ones. I totally agree with this view because of modern design and safety.
On the other hand, new houses can provide better living conditions. They are often built with modern facilities and energy-efficient materials. As a result, residents can enjoy a more comfortable life and spend less money on future repairs. For instance, newly built houses may have better insulation, which helps families reduce their heating costs in winter.
On the second hand, building new houses can ensure people’s safety because some old houses may have hidden problems inside their walls that can put residents’ lives at risk. As a result, constructing new houses with modern safety measures can be a better option. For example, electrical wires in old houses may become worn out over time. Since these wires are hidden inside the walls, residents may not notice the problem, which could lead to electrical fires.
In conclusion, personally, I think reconstructing new house is more convenient that wasting money on repairing old houses.
