It is considered by some that it is better to start learning a foreign language from an early age while there are others who believe that schools should provide education on foreign language as a specific domain. In my opinion, students need to begin learning a language at a primary school unless they want to face various hindrances in their academic trajectory.
On the one hand, some parents think that their children should learn a new language at their early school classes. The reason being why parents consider that way is they do not take learning a language as a relevant and noble part of student’s path, causing their children to lack behind from peers in their school life. However, it can be challenging for students to learn a foreign language later, since most students’ comprehension and the ability to obtain and memorize new concepts weaken as they get older and older.
On the other hand, people with awareness of students’ potential and skills emphasize that students should start learning a language at the very age in order to pursue their goals and have the ability to interact with foreigner if they’re ever going abroad. For instance, Asian residents are willing to study in diverse countries for the consistency of their academic path. In that case, they need to learn a language of that country they want to go. Learning a language has profound impact on students’ life and it offers different opportunities, allowing them to talk with tourists freely and in rare areas, to brag about their academic background, as well.
To conclude, benefits of learning a foreign language from an early age outweighs the aspects of learning it later as it plays the vital role in this developing era. I personally believe that with the help of well-rounded teachers and tutors, students can easily attain foreign languages to be solid enough at their dreams.
