There are many factors that contribute to the leadership ability of a person. Some people have that skills at a really young age, or may be receive this through different work in daily life. This essay attempt to shed light on both perspectives before concluding that I am in favor of the latter notion.
On the one hand, many researches have done around the world to explain the reason why children have good leadership qualities. A few of them convinced everyone believe in that hypothesis. Take an exceptional leaders Ho Chi Minh as an example. He showed such a great way in running a country to against the attack of France and America. In addition, people who had that ability at a young age usually have successful career.
On the other hand, there are a host of compelling reasons as to why I am convinced that leadership skills can be learnt. Through a long time learning, working, observation and experiences, extrovert people can gain this skills. For example, in almost school in Viet Nam, teachers usually give group projects for students. Each person in the group has the opportunity to be the group’s leader. As a result, they can practice and gradually get better.
In conclusion, while it is irrefutable that good leaders are born, I would contend that people can practice to have this skills. There are many people who born without leadership skill but also successful in the future.
