It is widely believed that citizens should be trained in order to achieve a higher goal for the government and society through education. On the other hand, education is made for the development of knowledge to accomplish their personal goals. As for me, I stand on the side of being beneficial for the society.
taking the orthodox position first, we can attribute numerous drawbacks to give up personal desires and work for the improvement of our community. First, there are several things would hinder us from getting the same depth of education. It might be the problem of personal abilities. we all come from a different family. Their genes are definitely not the same. Second, their families’ annual salary might hinder them to attend a better college.
Taking the opposite point of view, however, we can appreciate that advocates of working for the society have a reasonable case. The first point is about races. i sincerely believe that races are not a good phenomenon. On besetment with international school is competitions for gaining reputation between different nationalities. Through having the same goal and be united in a team, this can be basically solved.
Last, I’d like to say that there is nothing wrong with seeking for personal advantages. It is nice to train special talented kids about entrepreneurial and letting wealth and money to be a part of their life, but not everyone has the generous mind about being a patron like Bill Gates.
In a conclusion, I would like to say that our community and environment will be better and better if we work together and enhance it.
