Band 6+: Some people choose to live in vertical forests - buildings covered with trees and plants. Why might individuals prefer this lifestyle? Do you think it is a viable solution for urbanisation?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

As we approach the world of climate change and deforestation, more and more people are selecting vertical forests to live. While the main reason for the widespread of this trend is people’s demand to greeneary, I assert that it is totally a positive development for both people and government.

It is true that people are interconnected with nature since they have been born. For this reason, living in vertical forests has become a popular trend since people are trying to take an advantage of being closer to the nature. Climate changes in the world are driving people to be closer to the environment; for fear that they leave without natural resources, people are choosing environmentally-friendly areas to lead a life. Lack of space for the construction of new appartments, furthermore, is encouraging government to convert ordinary cities into vertical ones. Specious structure of vertical infustructures is making them particularly favorable choice for densely populated countries.

Whether living in eco-friendly vertical buildings is a positive or negative developmeent has also gained a traction. Although most of the people are accustomed to live in bungalows and housing appartments, I strongly believe that it is generally positive improvement for both authority and humanity. Aside from modernizing country’s infastructure, this trend also leads to the enhancements in public health. By being surrounded by the nature, people improve their blood circulation and reduce the risk of cardio vascular and lung related diseases. Additionally, according to scientists, people feel less stressed while they keep in touch with the environment. Thus, not only does it bring merits to human-beings’ health, but it also helps to the government to create balanced and less stressful society.

To conclude, while the huge demand for the environmental and specious zones is being the main reason for the replacement of the ordinary homes with vertical forests, I believe that this trend leads to several profitable and useful improvements.
