Some people have their own opinion on fashion, some may think fashion is like art and has a significant part of society while some feel like fashion is a waste of money and time.
In every country, there is a cultural outfit for instance in Korea, their cultural outfit is called Han Bo, a colourful shirt and pants woven from silk. Due to this reason, some people may recognize fashion as a part of society. Fashion can also convey your emotions depending on the colour you wear; colour has many meanings behind them, black is usually worn in events if there is funeral as black usually means grief and death. Creating an outfit needs high creativity, old influential figures, Yve Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Gianni Versace have paved ways and show the future generation on how to dress, also inspiring many future designers. There used to be a hierarchy based on how people dress, a stereotypical image is branded in everyone’s mind, the richer the person, the better the brand. Even back in ancient times, people expected rich people to be covered with jewellery and gold while peasants were in low quality fabrics.
However, people may think it’s a hassle to invest too much in fashion as a couple of T shirts and some shorts and long pants are sufficient. It is easier to wear what is more comfortable than wearing clothing that is sophisticated and unbearable to be in. Minimalistic people usually don’t mind what brand it is, they mostly enjoy buying a high quality and a decent looking shirt instead of slaving away to buy a designer shirt that isn’t snuggly to be in.
Overall, fashion has a huge factor in history and culture and has created many shows and icons from the vogue. In my opinion, I agree with both and I more of a minimalist.
