There is no denying the fact that some authorities in different countries is taken large part of people’s income for different reasons. While it is a commonly held belief that this money is taking to improve essential services such as roads and schools, there is also an argument that these taxes are costly. This essay will analyse this topic from both points of view and present my own perspective.
On one hand, nowadays taxes are higly required to improve essential services, such as public streets and buliding schools. In other words, offering a free public services is beneficial for populition well-being and their country’s future. In addition, applying fees could affore a high funds for government to offer a free health care services for all citizens. For example, in advanced countries such as Japan and Korea they have a free schools and hospitals.
On the other hand, some governments may spend taxes funds on other unuseful things. It is also possible to say that unfortinally not all responsibiles have an integrity to spend the money on right things. Moreover, high taxes may cause a financial pressure among population. For instance, this will affect low-income families and cause more debts.
In conclusion, there are no easy answers to this question. On balance, however, I tend to believe that the advantages of taxes outweigh the disasdvantages, but at the same time governments should take only a low portion of people’s income to improve the necessary services and try to reduce financial pressure among low-income families.
