This is considered by the majority of people to like shopping online and has positive and negative impacts, especially for individuals, the business world and society. While recognizing a multitude of drawbacks of this trend, I believe that the favorable outcomes resulting from shopping online is significantly more substantial.
Undeniably, the downsides of shopping online for individuals, business and society aspects are indeed glaring. From an individual aspect, online shopping activities pose a risk of fraud and data security. For instance, sellers do not send goods as well as credit card fraud due to malware. In addition, from the business side, it provides logistical challenges and global competition. Delivery of goods to various locations at varying costs and times as well as competitors offering similar better products as an example. Negative aspects to society impact to the socialization abilities, as the people loss of social interaction with other people while shopping online.
Irrespective of the aforementioned demerits, I contend that these undesirable impacts pale in comparison with the upsides. First, online shopping provides convenience and comfort and offers a wide variety of products. For example, people can buy goods without having to leave the house, thereby saving time and transportation costs and can compare prices and quality with similar products. Furthermore, online shopping provides greater market opportunities and cost efficiency, as the people have ability to sell products throughout the world without any operational costs. Moreover, being able to reduce pollution and waste by saving fuel is a positive example from a social perspective.
In conclusion, although online shopping is faced with negative issues, I firmly believe that these disadvantages can be overcome with benefits in individual, business and social terms.
