Nowadays, many people want to donate money inorder to help others. Some may prefer to give it to local charities, while other prefer large organization. In this essay, I will discuss both and give my opinion.
Some suggest donating to local charities, which are near to them. So, they can see it directly, how it is used, which gives an instant soul satisfaction. For example, people give money to nearby old age homes and orphanages, so they can directly visit and see. In tamilnadu majority of the population want to help their own area and near by society. Also, it is easy and more convinent; moreover, they can donate a small amounts also.
On the other hand, some want to donate to the national and international organization. This is also a good way to help people in wide range from countries to continents. This can be used in various events like natural disaster, such as floods, earth quake, and land slides. These are mainly used to help the people affected by war. For example, during the corono time, many countries helped India by providing medicines and food supplies.
There are lot of arguments were going on, but it actually depends on the amount. If you have small amount its very suitable to give it to near by NGO’s and charities. If you’re wealth enough, you can go for international organizations, so they can utilize it to help lot of people who are in need.
The basic idea is to help other, weather it is local organization or international one. In my opinion, giving donation to local charitis is better. We have to help our own society first; by the same, every society will get help, that will help the whole nation.
