In these days, whose the duty of transporting children belongs to causing controversy. Some people believe that the authorities should take this responsibility, others reckon parents. This essay will discuss both views and express my perception.
On the one hand, government provides school bus systems, creating a significant convinience. Unlike normal bus systems, which stops at the bus station to pick up passengers, school bus would give children a ride from their houses to school. This makes sure they are punctual at school. As a result, parents can straightly commute to work without taking their child to school first, allowing them to save time.
On the other hand, parents can ensure the satety for their children. In Vietnam, there were some accidents that children fell asleep and got stuck on the bus. Those were spreaded largely on social media and grabed a lot of attention. Eventually, some children were fotunately found, but others even loss their life. Therefore, parents should be responsible for the transportation. Not only does it secure their child , but also strengthens relationship.
In conclusion, I side on the latter perspective. Even though school bus gives many benefits, I believe parental involvment could outweight it.
