It is widely debated whether it is better to live in high-rise buildings or in houses. Several members of the public consider that it is the best option to live in tremendous buildings, since it offers a better sense of society, while others consider the opposite, and say that it is more likely to feel lonely, as there is no commumity spirit. This essay will discuss both views, and state my opinion with real-life examples.
As we all know, more people live in high-rise buildings than in houses, as there are more floors and apartments, because of that neighbours’ bonds form more friendlier, and they become like a family, as they live in the same building. For instance, a person who live in that kinds of apartments have a lot of friends, familiars or neighbours for whom they can trust their houses; they are aware of every tiny detail of their living spots. However, living in houses does not offer these types of chances.
On the other hand, there are people who are not outgoing, they might have some troubles with living in high-rise buildings. Furthermore, it is insecure to live with hundreds of people in the same flat, as we cannot trust anyone we know; they can be liars who try to be in good terms with you, and then betray. Also, it is not necessary for everyone to know every little step of our lives; some of them might be used against our security. As an example, we can take our door passwords, keys or some kinds of documents which can get leaked easily. Then, our lives will become more likely to stuck in danger.
In conclusion, I prefer to live in houses rather than giant buildings. It is more fun to live in houses, as it is big enough to go crazy, and enjoy life with neighbours. In apartments, a lot of people are locked in a small place, while houses offer a greater sense of community and freedom.
