In today’s world, education has been receiving a great attention from the community. It is claimed that all students should focus on studying full-time until they are least 18 years old. From my perspective, I partly agree with the above statement for the following reasons.
There is no denying that spending time for others activities besides studying brings several benefits. First of all, it helps students improve their soft skills, especially when they participate in voluntary activities. This is because, they can develop communications skill, sympathy and self-growth, which allows individuals to enhance their self-realisation. Secondly, students can explore their inner personal, and pursue of their dreams. They can know what they want to achieve, and what a personal patterns they want to become. For example, CongB is a famous artist in VietNam, when he still learn in school, besides studying, he participated in music clubs in his school to unwind after a long hectic day at school. After that, he realized that he has a passionate about music and he decided to pursuit of music career, which enables him to shine today.
On the other hand, I believed that staying in full-time education until we are at least 18 years old is advantage. To begin with, learning helps people broaden their horizons. This is because when people learn in school, they may acquire more useful knowledge in order to applying this in their life. For example, we learn mathematics not only calculating numbers or boring formula, but also applying this knowledge to real-world problems in construction and accounting. Moreover, studying allows people to achieve their dreams easily. Education is not the only path to success, but it is certainly one of the shortest. So spending full-time studying is worth, because a Greek proverb goes, “Education has bitter roots, but sweet fruits.”
All things considered, although sharing study times for others activities brings several advantages such as enhancing personal value, I still firmly reckon that students should stay in full-time studying until they are at least 18 years old.
