In recent years, climate change has become one of the most serious problems in the world. Some people believe that instead of preventing it, we should find ways to live with it. I partly disagree with this opinion because I think both solutions are important, but prevention should be the main focus.
On the one hand, it is clear that climate change is already affecting our lives. For example, many countries are experiencing higher temperatures, floods, and strong storms. Because of this, people need to adapt to these changes. Governments can build better infrastructure to protect cities from floods, and farmers can grow crops that need less water. These solutions can help people live more safely in changing conditions.
On the other hand, I believe that preventing climate change is more important in the long term. If we do not try to reduce it, the situation will become much worse. For instance, rising sea levels can destroy coastal cities, and many animals may lose their natural habitats. In addition, future generations will suffer from our actions today. Therefore, countries should reduce carbon emissions, use renewable energy, and protect forests to slow down climate change.
In conclusion, although adapting to climate change is necessary, it should not replace efforts to prevent it. I believe that taking action now is the best way to protect our planet in the future.
