Learning languages is extremly important in people’s life. Some individuals think that learning a foreign language is only useful for travelling or working abroad, while others believe there are many other reasons to learn a second language. From my perspective, I think there are several benefits to learn other languages. In this essay I will discuss both views and explain my opinion.

Some people argue that the ultimate reason to learn a foreign langauge is useful for travelling or working in another country. For instance when people go to another country for vacation it is very important to know that country’s language to avoid scams and fraud, Also, it is required to have a certain level of language to get opportunities to work abroad.

On the other hand, others consider that there are many advantages to learn an additional language. Such as helping individuals gain greater self-confidence. It can also facilitae communication between people from different cultures and make new friends around the world.

In conclusion, learning a foreign language is useful for travelling and woking abroad. I believe that it has many other benefits. It can increase self- confidence, improve communication skills, and helps people to connect with others and make new friends.
