The debate between modern technology and its’ advantages are more prevalent by the day. Beginning with the most childish topics to consumptions and shopping, people are on various viewpoints. From my perspective, while others may disagree that shopping online is not convenient, I strongly agree that its’ easier when maintained properly.
First and Foremost, the advancement of techonology has impacted the e-commerce community effectively. Specifically, it has supported innovative websites and the creation of online shopping, which has sparked thousands of consumer and customers to engage in it. In other words, online shopping has a more straightforward experience, while physical shopping has decreased significantly over the years. Why this happens is because of the time and money it consume to travel to different shops. As a result, not only business and store owners who work in that community may face an economy failure, but also the increasing of scammers will be common.
In detail, why some people disagree has a justifiable reason. Although shopping online may be effortless and excessive consumption can be made, the disadvantages outweighs the benefits. Simply put, e-commerce and online shopping websites with no authentication is not to be trusted. The modern technology has made scamming substantially easier with just a small mistake done. For instance, in 2022, a researcher from a high-end university discovered that websites with little to no authentication and no official name, has a high percentage of stealing your data. Accompanied by just a click from a “fake” ad, they may have easy access to the persons data. Therefore, the precious data can be sold for cash increasing danger for the person.
In conclusion, online shopping has its advantages and can be easily used as long as it is maintained carefully.
