Music is the art of organizing sound in a way that creates beauty, harmony, and emotional expression. Some people believe that one of the decent ways to connect people of diverse cultures and ages is music. From my point of view, I agree with this viewpoint for many reasons, as described in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, I believe that music can be reached from any place around the world, in other words is everyone can listen to and produce music; music does not have to be made in a fancy studio or an enormous theatre; we can make music from rocks, woods, and other common things. Moreover, we can enjoy music in other languages without knowing those languages because music contains pleasurable melodies and harmonies. Due to some countries including music in their cultural traditions, we can study our cultures through music even better as well.
Interestingly, even though people born in different generations are expected to have contrasting music tastes, there is some relation found between them. For example, younger kids are likely to listen to EDM, pop, and rap music, while older generations seem to be into country and jazz. However, there is a decent number of kids who enjoy music from the 90s and adults who appreciate the modern genre of music.
In conclusion, I strongly agree with this viewpoint since it seems to me that the advantages of the idea of using music to bring people from different cultures and ages together outweigh the disadvantages.
