When they finish school, teenagers face the dilemma of whether to get a job or continue their education. While there are some benefits to getting a job straight after school, I would argue that it is better to go to college or university.
On the one hand, the benefits for adults who are working straight after school are to start earning money and gaining experience. Firstly, earning a salary can increase their savings to improve their lifestyle which means they do not need an allowance from their parents anymore so it could ease their parents load. They would purchase their dream car from their personal savings account, for instance. Secondly, they can gain more experience than others by working on the fields earlier. Working in the field is different from learning the theory in the books which can increase their skills. For example, in theory, they suggest workers improve their teamwork by communicating with each other, while in practice sometimes a number of employees only focus on their own tasks that are different from the book.
On the other hand, I believe that it is more beneficial for students to continue their studies because some jobs require academy qualifications. Nowadays, working in big companies that give their employees higher salaries and better job opportunities needs a better resume that is sometimes gained from prestigious universities. For example, in South Korea the employees who want to work in the big tech companies such as Samsung and Hyundai which offer huge salaries. Additionally, the executive board of the companies mostly graduated from well known universities.
To conclude, it seems to me that students are more likely to be successful in their lives if they continue their studies beyond school level.
