Band 5+: Some people say that success is "10 percent talent and 90% hard work Is hard work the key to success or is talent also important?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In today’s world, some people argue that working hard can make us successful rather than having talent, while others consider that having talent is important. In my point of view, hard working can give a lot valuable things in a long term, but talent can make it easier.

One of the most necessary things for being successful is working hard. It makes us smarter, gives us some remarkable experiences which can open a lot of door in our life. For example, all people who made famous companies such as Stiv Job or Ilon Mask had dedicated themselves before made incredible things. The point is, they were ordinary people too. In addition, we always have to pay something for taking something. Therefore, people can not be successful in life without any sacrifices, challenges and dedication.

On the other hand, talent also plays a big role in life. Natural abilities makes us stand out around people. Also, Not only does it make our work easier, but also helps for achieving any areas on the career. For instance, there are some really talented footballers in the world such as Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar who could achieve endless steps in the soccer’s history with their extraordinary talent. However, the best way for being famous is having talent which showed you different among all people.

In conclusion, while having talent does not require long period of hard working, strong work ethic can help us to succeed with some challenges in a long-term period. Moreover, if people don’t try to achieve anything with their great talent, it will be nothing.
