Some think social bonds between people are being challenged by hi-tech like phones. While I agree that advanced technology has huge impact on social interactions , I do believe that we can not ban them and its possible to reverse trend.
On the one hand, the more advanced the technology is, the more dangers it will bring.
Firstly, they can exploit our desire and exhaust our most valuable resources. For example, big platforms like tik tok have used special algorithm which can analyse what the user wants through their archive or subscribed channels and grant them such kind of content.And, indeed, its young generation that is more prone than athers to such attractive and admireable content . So they may loose their valuable time and energy which is supposed to be used to improve old social links and make new ones. Secondly , there is not enough info about content creators in most platforms to protect their identity , but it means that they have perfect opportunity to fake their own reality and show us perfect image to gather more followers. But in turn it may cause unsatisfaction in many people especially teenagers who think they have inferior body ar bad financial condition. And this trend can make them have low self esteem and lack of confidence which may cause isolation and maybe even loss of social interaction.
On the other hand , these devices are providing us with cost-effective and easy means of communication which is important for us. Telegram , for instance ,allows us to share pictures , voice massages and even some files or phones themselves allow us to change info in real time by just one call . So these technologies are main drivers of our economy , scientific advancement and even medicine becauxe we have too much info to gather and use .Secondly , its unethical to ban them as its human righs that allows citizens to use them , and its not logical or acceptable to ‘protect’ humans through depriving them from their basic rights.Finally ,they are optional . It means we can learn amd teach how to ignore distractions and use them to make new bonds without wasting time and mitigate problem.
In short , I believe if we can teach how to use phones effectively we can actually win this loosing game.
