Some people argue that the experiences a child has, before enrolling in school have the most impact on their future. While some people say that experiences or instances as a teenager, specifically at school, are more impacting on the future life of any child. I am in the support of the latter opinion as this is the time when a child is interacting with new people daily and this is the time where they might apply their cognitive abilities to understand critical situations and make their own fresh perceptions. This essay will discuss both the views.
Experiences as a teenager are more relevant and influential in a child’s life. This is the time when they have developed the cognitive ability to perceive things around them making them eligible to analyze a situation on their own behalf. In other words, teenage years are the years in which a child develops their own opinions and is most exposed to the outer world, that helps in further brain development and overall growth of an individual. For example, a survey conduted by Johns Hopkins University states that teenage years is the time which determines the future of any child.
Some people believe that life before school or before entering into teenage years determines the future of a child. This is the time where a child’s brain is not very much developed and can be manipulated very easily. In other words, just the time before entering into teenage years, parent’s can train the subconcsious mind of a child which will be embedded in brain for life-long. For instance, articles published by Harvard Medical Review mentions that traing of the subconschious mind of a child is comparatively easy in the early years, which might determine the future course of life.
In conclusion, I believe that experiences as a teenager have more significant impact on childs future than experiences as a child. Training the subconscious mind of a child requires special assistance and rigorous training which might be difficult for most of the parents. Lastly, in my opinion a child’s future is mostly dominated from the teenage years of a child.
