Many people believe that the feeling of competitiveness among children is better to motivate them. In contrast, the other section of the society argues to this statement, while saying they should be understanding in nature. In my opinion, having a mutual cooperation has more advantages than disadvantages.
Society has immense competition to work, live and survive. One should be capable enough to compete with others to sustain and move forward in life. Kids are taught to struggle from a very young age and they are pushed hard to tackle any situation that arrives in the middle of their journey. Besides that, there is always a fear to fail, for instance, parents yell at the students who often fail in exams, and these long term harsh behavior houses in the mindset, that eventually make them believe to fight in every scenario to win at any cost. Another point to negate this, is that the youngsters who are ready for jobs and businesses, come across similar issues and find it complex to get through interviews due to heavy number of candidates applying for same position.
One the other hand, having a mutual connection to share and help each other, is always a better approach. Also, Individuals are of different ages and it is impossible for the older ones to compete with the younger generations, and hence, everyone should inculcate the values to respect and foster the needs of others. Moreover, both behaviors should be implemented at certain time and have their own importance, which means any one of them having majority of the proportion in one’s mind is not acceptable.
The desire to win every time should be tackled with the better sense to cooperate.
