In recent decades, many countries in the world have a tendency to integrate in terms of business and culture, which boosts economic development and integration worldwide. However, others deny this, as they think its outcome may lead to the loss of their own national identities. From my viewpoint, a country cannot lose its culture through these business activities for the following reasons.
First and foremost, the government will earn a great deal of advantage if it opens its trading market to the world. As a matter of fact, the world nowadays offers a free environment for many countries to export and import goods across many continents. As a result, this creates more jobs for not only the citizens of one country but also allows many international organizations to develop a number of business ventures. Additionally, when it comes to exchanging cultural characteristics, many countries could become closer to one another and facilitate good relationships instead of conflicts and war. It is apparent that the traditions of many countries in the world differ greatly due to their distinct living conditions across the continents. However, there are also many similarities which they can rely on to improve their good relations with their partners. Consequently, instead of concentrating on the cultural and religious differences which may easily result in escalating conflicts and war, each country could develop its resemblance in various aspects such as: clothes, food, and festivals to nurture their relationship with other countries.
Nevertheless, many people still argue that this cultural blending can lead to the disappearance of individuals’ cultural identities. In fact, many people could be fascinated and mesmerized by the beauty and diversity of one culture, and then they may not want to learn about their own country anymore. It is common knowledge that each culture existing in the world is the long-standing progress of civilization containing many factors which are glorious or sometimes appear in a mysterious way. Consequently, their curiosity about those cultures may lead to less interest in their own country. However, these issues could be partly solved by focusing more on the education of patriotism and history lessons at schools. Their love for their own nation could be embedded in their hearts and become indelible regardless of time.
In conclusion, the modern world necessitates growing business trading activities and the integration of all countries. On the other hand, it is advisable that people become more open to other cultures, but they must not forget their own identities.
