Many people argue that the internet is filled with bad and harmful content. They believe that it is the government’s responsibility to remove inappropriate media that exists on different websites. In my opinion, I totally agree with them; the internet is like a large, mysterious space, and because of that, it needs certain regulations and guidelines to be imposed.

Social media has appeared in our lives, and with the amount of content that is uploaded by different creators, strict rules should be imposed. Each society has different norms and beliefs, as well as we all differ from one another. That is why authorities need to censor harmful media that is against the values of each community, as this will help us to make the most use of internet. Furthermore, limiting the disadvantages of internet as well as detrimental videos on different platforms.

The most important rule is age guidelines. Children can be exposed to many harmful online videos, which is mainly because how easy it is to access the internet. That is why each website must make sure that their content is filtered from anything that can hurt children, or they can put an age verification to prevent them from scrolling on these websites. Authorities can also block access to online media that displays inappropriate content by banning it. This is a key role in protecting children and preserving cultural values and beliefs from disappearing.

In conclusion, I think that government officials should take steps to ban any content that may cause harmful effects to anyone. This can be done through strict regulations that must be in place on any platform with a large number of audiences.
