There are two conflicting views with regard to the allocation of tax revenue. Some people think that the government should prioritize medical care while others believe there are more urgent matters. I believe that money of tax-payers should be used for other more crucial areas.
On the one hand, it is understandable why health care is believed to be essential. In most countries, health care is both urgent and significant. It promotes the development of the nations and should be the top priority to spend tax money. People, who do not have good health, cannot work or do anything, and they cannot contribute to society. Furthermore, the lack of proper healthcare might reduce the quality of each person’s life. The evidence suggests that coronavirus disease was a test for the healthcare systems in many countries. Countries with well-funded healthcare have been able to provide sufficient vaccines and medical facilities to their citizens.
On the other hand, I believe that the national leaders should focus more on education development. This area is the main element in developing the country. Education creates the workforce in many fields and is responsible for training and growing the countries’ talents. Besides, the environment is also a notable problem. Nature is very important in the life of humans. There are multiple things influenced by nature. (for ex). Therefore, protecting the environment is the responsibility of everyone and a portion of our tax revenue ought to go toward this.
In conclusion, in my opinion, there are lots of areas that need funding from tax. Health care is crucial but education and the environment should be prioritized.
