Some individuals are of the claim that government’s effort on reducing environmental pollution and housing problems could bring about significant advantages in preventing illness and disease. Personally, i partially agree with this perspective, as there are several compelling reasons that will be discussed in this essay.
On the one hand, there are several persuasive rationales that support the claim that government should emphasize on addressing environmental and housing problems to mitigate illness and disease’s consequences. In this day and age, due to the rapid industrialization and modernization, numerous factories and related-facilities have been installed, dumping a massive amount of waste and emission to the environment. This situation may ultimately poses detrimental effects on the citizen’s health condition, potentially causing severe asthma-related problems.
One the other hand, despite the idealistic nature of focusing on tackling environmental and housing problems, its actual implementation could bring about numerous obstacles and problems. Given that environmental and housing problems are not the only reasons of the widespread of illness and desease, fixating on these problems would bring about an ineffective outcome and waste an amount of financial resource. As a result, the proposed measure may face significant barriers to successful implementation.
In conclusion, although there are mixed opinions on whether should government focus on reducing housing and environmental issues to prevent illness and disease, i believe the government need to consider on a case-by-case basic. Government intervention on addressing these problems would potentially reduce the widespread of illness and desease, while several concerns needed to be considered and taken into implementation.
