People hold different views about planting trees and building new houses. While building new houses benefits to developing countries and running the economy, I believe that planting trees is usually more beneficial due to several reasons.
To begin with, building new houses is usually effective for those cities which are densely populated. By building more houses, the costs of accomodation will be reduced, which leads to a better quality of life and might help people lift out of poverty. Furthermore, if the construction workers and architects are in need, the economy of the countries will run better. It can be argued that building new houses is positive in several cases, as not all countries have a dense population or problems with economy.
I believe that planting trees is much more desirable, as it benefits to environment. Unlike building new houses, planting trees is invaluable for all countries as they produce fresh air. This means that there will be less pollutants in the air and a number of diseases can be avoided. Moreover, trees can also help reduce stress, this can be explained by people’s usually positive behaviour in parks. Areas with trees and other plants create a tranquil atmosphere which helps people to concentrate better and relax after work or classes. In my opinion, trees are invaluable because they assist not only the environment but also society as a whole.
To conclude, even though building new houses sometimes can be positive, I would argue that planting trees should be seen not as a luxury, but as a necessity.
