Opinions differ regarding whether history can be a good source of information. Although historical books are written by winners, I still think that it is a good idea to use history to reflect in the past events. And it aslo can prevent individuals not to make the same mistakes in the future.
On the one hand, history of people that win the battle, which makes all historical books implausible. The population does not know the real reason for starting conflicts. For instance, from the science journal of the London News, they proved that more than half of books about history are not credible. However, I disagree with the argument above, because there are many other historical books, or magazines that have truth, and we can make a point throught them.
On the other hand, history helps people to prevent mistakes from the past in the present. Reading old papers that have historical information can decreased the number of mistakes in the present, because they could have the same plot. For example, the main scuplture in the USA is The Statue Of Freedom, that remains people about horrible event that have happened, but the remaining of those days bear it in mind of thousends of individuals. I firmly support this perspective because I believe it helps to eradicate problems of the old times, and not to make them again.
In conclusion, although not every historical book is credible, some books can still help us to reflect in the past, and prevent future conflicts.
