Family is considered as a first school to youngsters. A group of people believe that family seniors should take part in a child’s upbringing,while others consider that this should be done only by parents. From my point of view the participation of relatives in the upbringing of children is beneficial due to various reasons and this essay will provide them.
First of all, thanks to relatives helping,children become more educated and well- mannered. Older people of family including grandparents,aunts and uncles have a huge amount of experience and knowledge,in the result they deliver it to a young generation. A good illustration of this is the fact that majority of youngsters who were brought up by grandparents achieved great heights in life.All in all, relatives engagement in upbringing,carries different perspectives that may benefit to the child’s development.
Secondly, love and care of relatives provides happiness for the child.In a modern world parents usually work all day and consequently they don’t have enough energy to pay attention to own child and thanks to other family members helping,youngsters will not feel loneliness and indifferent attitude. For instance: research shows that children who have close relationships with extended family members have better social and emotional positions. Altogether, children gain sufficient attention because of relatives.
To conclude, while some people say that only parents should decide how to bring up their children, I think that sharing this responsibility with the rest of the family is more time-saving and better for children`s personalities and future.
